Operation Beautiful

Operation Beautiful was created by Caitlin over at Healthy Tipping Point. Here is her mission ...

One of my biggest personal crusades is ending Fat Talk. If my little blog only does one productive thing, I hope it helps readers realize how truly toxic fat talk is — it hurts you emotionally, spiritually, and physically. I want to reach as many people as possible with my End the Fat Talk message. If you’ve never read my Fat Talk page, check it out here on Healthy Tipping Point.

Recently, I stumbled upon the Gives Me Hope website, and I was inspired to start my own random act of kindness crusade — Operation Beautiful.

Operation Beautiful is simple: all you need is a pen and a piece of paper.

Here are my contributions to Operation Beautiful ... the first post-it was put on a mirror in an Old Navy change room. The second post-it was put on the back of the cash register at Old Navy.

I will definitely be doing more, it made me feel so good to get those notes out there. Do your part and end the fat talk.

no one believes me when I say, Discrimination against fat people is the last socially acceptable form of discrimination. Its true, for some reason society can poke as much fun as they want at fat people, its time to love everyone and stop the fatism

love the positive self talk! What a great place to put it on when in the change room - that place can be a very negative and scary place sometimes!!

great work, I am sure you put smiles on the faces of women who are just to hard on themselves!

This is an awesome idea and I am going to work on spreading my own beauty talk here in Delaware too. Oh and I'm linking up to you for my Sunday Stars. Wouldn't it be great to find these sticky notes everywhere??!! Thanks for sharing such a message of hope.
