Sleepless Night

Left to Right: Tobin Dax, Orphan Annie, and Eecheb

Last night Tobin meowed and cried from 11:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.  Liam and I both were a bit upset about being kept up all night but at the same time we know that this move is a lot of change for the cats.  Eecheb and Annie appeared to be fine, though they did jump up on the bed quite a bit for some cuddles.  All three cats have been sleeping all day so here’s hoping that the cats are okay tonight and we can get some sleep, especially since I go back to work tomorrow morning.

Today has been a day of doctor appointments as well as more moving and unpacking.  I have had a lot of aches and pains in my wrist/arm/shoulder and the doctor diagnosed me with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.  My doctor said that working in factories for 10 years doing repetitive work is what caused me to get Carpal Tunnel SyndromeRight now I’m just going to get a wrist/arm splint and wear it at night.  Hopefully this will prevent my wrist from getting worse, however if things do get worse I’ll have to go for surgery.  My doctor is also sending me to get a ultrasound done on my throat/thyroid because she has a feeling something isn’t right there.  My blood work always comes back fine but blood work doesn’t show us/tell us everything.

Other than the above not much has been going on.  I really missed going to my Weight Watcher’s Meeting on Sunday

Okay well I’m off to do some more unpacking and then I’m going to watch The Biggest Loser at 9:00 p.m.  Take care!

I have to wear a split too (Carpal tunnel, years of computer work and then using small tools). I got a wrist brace at Metro for a decent price.

Carpel Tunnel is the worst! As well as cats up all night. That's the worst.

Poor kitties! I have hypothyroidism too. I've been for a couple of those ultrasounds. It's interesting. It's good you have a conscientious doc! Hope you got some sleep!

Oh man, CTS, that stinks! I hope it gets better for you. I know how much that can hurt.
Here's hoping you get some sleep tonight!

Oh! Poor kitties!

By the way, I'm just throwing this out here, but doctors kept testing me for thyroid issues, too. Turns out I'm actually vitamin D deficient. It's a quick and easy test to do. Why don't you ask your doctor?

Re: Christy in Seattle

Last year when I went for my tests my results came back with me having barely any Vitamin D in me so I've been taking Vitamin D pills for a year now :)
